Career

I make sure owners and management always know where they stand, and where the business is heading

I began my career at Ernst & Young, as an auditor and later team leader on engagements for financial institutions and corporates. After a role in internal audit at U.S. Steel Serbia, I spent more than a decade as CFO within the Sitronics, Neptun and Syngenta (ADAMA) groups, before joining Tehnomanija as Executive Director, Finance.

Beyond my core remit of IFRS and US GAAP reporting, consolidation, tax, cash management and financing, I have led initiatives that changed how businesses operate. I have taken part in company acquisitions, leading the finance workstream from board scenarios and due diligence through to negotiations. At ADAMA, I led the post-acquisition integration of the business acquired in Bulgaria and went on to run it. I also led process design for the regional expansion into the former Yugoslav markets and Albania. I executed legal-entity restructurings, including mergers, divestments and the liquidation of loss-making subsidiaries. I served on the pricing strategy committee and on pan-European working groups for sales and process improvement. In 2021, I received the European Backbone Hero Award for outstanding contribution.

As part of the executive leadership team, I led a business through a restructuring: within a year, we cut negative cash flow by around 80%, migrated to a new ERP, reduced the fixed cost base, streamlined processes, exited unprofitable sales channels and positioned the company for a successful change of ownership. Throughout my career, I have led teams directly and through line managers, and invested in developing the people around me.

In 2024 I founded My Business Partner. Today I serve as fractional CFO to manufacturing, retail and distribution businesses: I build management reporting, oversee tax planning, compliance and transfer pricing strategy, automate finance processes with Power BI and AI tools, and act as a sounding board for owners on running the business and on strategic decisions.
